Professional Information

Chan Lan Chun achieved her bachelor's (1999) and masters of science (2001) degrees in Environmental Science and Engineering at Ewha Womans University in Seoul, South Korea. She received her doctorate degree from the University of Minnesota in Environmental Engineering in 2006. Her dissertation title is "Kinetic and microscopic studies on the reactivity of Fe(II)-bearing minerals in the reductive transformations of organic contaminant."

Chun holds a joint position at the University of Minnesota Duluth as Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering and Research Associate in the Geomicrobiology Lab at NRRI.
