A motion device for Mössbauer spectrometry

Abstract

A servo controlled electromagnetic transducer has been made for studies of the Mössbauer effect. The device operates at velocities up to 30 cm/sec, with a precision of between 0.1% and 1% depending upon the waveform and mode of operation used.
