Abstract

This paper proposes a new average model for DC-DC converters obtained using circuit-averaging techniques [1]. The model is simple to derive and easy to implement in simulators (like Pspice^TM). It works in CCM and DCM and in the presence of ESR. It can be used for transient and small signal analysis.
