Abstract
A water separator designed to separate loose grain from samples of combine discharge material collected in test runs to evaluate combine performance in wild rice harvest is described. In performance tests, the separator was 94-97% effective in separation of loose grain and 85-91% effective in retention of unthreshed grain.
