Abstract

"ACTION was a community engaged interdisciplinary collaborative art class at the University of MN-Twin Cities. It created the opportunity for students & community members to interact with each other. ACTION changed the students' focus from internal campus life to community involvement & collaborative art, while it opened the eyes of the community to the possibilities of art. This was the first time the class was held, so it was a bit of an experiment. The following is a documentation of the relationships created, stories told, discussions held, and art works made for the ACTION class."
