Abstract
The adsorption kinetics of n-pentane, thiophene, and benzene on WS2 nanotubes have been studied by thermal desorption spectroscopy (TDS). First evidence is obtained that these probe molecules adsorb on internal, external, and groove sites of the nanotubes. Reactive TDS experiments reveal some catalytic activity towards hydrodesulfurization of thiophene.
