Abstract

We have found that viscoelastic measurements corresponding to low shear rates are very sensitive to the polymer behavior. Rough time scales for a variety of plastics processing steps are shown. Several examples have been selected to illustrate these observations. In each of these cases measurements were made with an oscillatory shear technique.
