Abstract

This paper presents and discusses two sum rules for the axial-vector form factor for the He3-H3 isodoublet, the conventional Weisberger-Adler sum rule, and a new plane-wave sum rule. Both sum rules are well satisfied. A method of improving the impulse-approximation estimate of pion-cross-section differences is presented, and the various disintegration cuts and anomalous thresholds inherent in a nuclear dispersion relation are discussed.
