Abstract

One thing is certain: a fascinating future related to the use of CAT in critical care lies ahead. Efforts made by critical care nurses to become familiar with these therapies and to determine patients' current or desired use will surely safeguard patients from potential harm related to overuse and interaction with other prescribed therapies and will help nurses identify the optimal benefits that CAT may offer.
