Abstract
Since initial operation of the Minnesota MP tandem Van de Graaff accelerator began in 1966 a number of changes have been made to prevent recurring faults and to improve machine performance. A description of these modifications to the mechanical and electrical structure of the machine and the resulting improvements in performance are summarized. A preliminary report on the operation of accelerator tubes of a modified design is included.
