Abstract

This presentation, necessarily a once over lightly treatment, provides a few facts and some thoughts and personal opinions about coronary risk detection and intervention, by simple approaches now used in preventive practice. If these were implemented by the physician they would everywhere be considered good medical practice; they might do good and surely would do no harm. Risk detection and preventive management deserve attention by physician and patient alike because such measures are safe, reasonable and potentially effective.
