Abstract

Electron-positron production differential cross sections in nucleon-nucleon collisions are calculated analytically via meson exchange with a realistic pseudovector coupling including strong interaction form factors. These results are compared with newly obtained data from the DLS at the BEVALAC of proton on beryllium. A comparison with the soft photon approximation is also made.
