Abstract

The results indicate that undetected presensitization in the form of either humoral (LDA or CDA) or cellular immunity (LMC) significantly correlates with poor graft survival in cadaveric or haploidentical conventionally treated recipients. We suggest that the use of these assays, as routine crossmatch procedures, may reduce early graft losses in conventionally treated renal allograft recipients.
