Abstract

The authors regret the following errors: • The pressure distribution shown in the original paper should be the relative pressure distribution with respect to the hydrostatic pressure in the water tunnel. • Correspondingly, the statement of "the internal pressure in the major portion of the supercavity is primarily governed by the hydrostatic pressure of water" should be revised as "the internal pressure stays almost uniform in the major (frontal) portion of the supercavity."
