Abstract
This paper describes the result of an experimental investigation on the dynamic behavior of pile groups in an overconsolidated clay. By testing a scaled soil-pile model at normal gravity, the vertical dynamic response of a 2 × 2 pile group foundation was determined under random excitation. The result was compared to a theoretical solution.
