Abstract

Planned switching requires different analysis and evaluation than fault or restoration switching. This paper addresses the issues of knowledge engineering to obtain the background information for creating an expert system. The gathered information is being used to develop an expert system to both generate and evaluate switching sequences for scheduled switching.
