Abstract

The standard factorization procedure in weak non-leptonic decays is discussed at the level of 1/Nc terms (Nc is the number of colors). These terms are found to be dynamically suppressed. The results are based on the analysis of a "clean" theoretical limit and are exact in this sense.

Funding Information:
My interest to the standard factorization procedure and possible mechanisms of the dynamical suppression has been revived by numerous discussions I had with Prof. R. Rückl during the Workshop organized by the Aspen Center for Theoretical Physics. I am grateful to R. Rückl, A. Vainshtein and M. Voloshin for discussions and valuable comments. I would like to thank the Aspen Center for Theoretical Physics for financial support and perfect organization of the Workshop.
