Abstract

Prediction of infiltration rate as derived with the W. H. Green-G. A. Ampt equation, used in conjunction with the M. G. Mein-C. L. Larson equation for ponding time prediction, are compared to measured infiltrometer data for three soils located near Morris, Minnesota. Although the comparisons are not satisfactory, there is sufficient agreement to warrant further study.
