Abstract

The study described was conducted to analyze the effluent flow from a subsurface disposal field using finite elements. The parameters studied were the soil hydraulic conductivity, organic mat hydraulic conductivity, column base hydraulic head and the soil surface hydraulic head. The finite element computer program was used to determine the failure loading rate for each disposal field flow situation.
