Abstract

A four-wire active filter has been implemented which neutralizes current harmonic effects, caused by any configuration of nonlinear loads in three-phase, four-wire systems. This paper presents the results of a laboratory implementation. These results are compared with those from computer simulations and key design issues are discussed.
