Abstract

The last decades have seen an exponential increase of experiments and observations aimed at establishing the structure, the evolution, and the constituents of the Universe, covering essentially the whole electromagnetic spectrum. The interviews collected in this chapter describe the main evidence at the base of the currently accepted cosmological scenario and discuss the interpretation of experimental data that support it. Some alternative (heretical?) ideas on the interpretation of redshifts and Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB) radiation are also included.
