Abstract

Human embryonic fibroblastic cells, FS-4, attach to Cytodex 1 and Cytodex 3 microcarriers at different rates. The first order rate constant for attachment to Cytodex 1 is two-fold higher than that to Cytodex 3. After attachment no difference in growth kinetics on the two types of microcarriers was observed.
