In the spirit of Benjamin Franklin. 13 virtues of the next-gen librarian

The article discusses the virtues of the next-generation librarian taken from the spirit of Benjamin Franklin who developed a system of virtues which he used to grow as an individual. It refers to these virtues as a tool to guide the self-improvement of librarians in the 21st century. These virtues include courage which is defined as acting in spite of fear, flexibility where next generation librarian sees change as an opportunity to improve themselves and collegiality where they share their skills and ideas with their colleagues. These virtues are indicated as a framework to guide librarians in their development as a professional.
