Abstract

There are a tremendous number of insects that bite. Many assaults on the skin lead to annoying itches or to skin lesions of various morphologies or even to anaphylaxis and death. Prevention of bites is important. When bites occur, specific treatments must often be given to minimize morbidity or prevent death.
