Abstract

The phase diagram of 3.0×60 nm CdSe nanorods dispersed in cyclohexane. As such, only weak temperature dependence was observed in the temperature range studied. In addition, the coexistence concentrations of the order and disordered phases were much lower than those predicted with the hard rod model, and the biphasic region was wider. It was believed that such discrepancies may result from the attractive interaction between the nanorods.
