Measurements of absolute branching fractions of fourteen exclusive hadronic d decays to η

Abstract

Using 2.93 fb−1 of e+e collision data taken at a center-of-mass energy of 3.773 GeV with the BESIII detector, we report the first measurements of the absolute branching fractions of fourteen hadronic D0(+) decays to exclusive final states with an η, e.g., D0 → Kπ+η, KS0 π0η, K+Kη, KS0 KS0 η, Kπ+π0η, KS0 π+πη, KS0 π0π0η, and π+ππ0η; D+ → KS0 π+η, KS0 K+η, Kπ+π+η, KS0 π+π0η, π+π+πη, and π+π0π0η. Among these decays, the D0 → Kπ+η and D+ → KS0 π+η decays have the largest branching fractions, which are B(D0 → Kπ+η) = (1.853 ± 0.025stat ± 0.031syst)% and B(D+ → KS0 π+η) = (1.309±0.037stat ±0.031syst)%, respectively. We also determine the CP asymmetries for the six decays with highest event yields. No evidence of CP violation is found.
