Abstract

In this short review, the authors shall be concerned with the behavior of A-B diblock copolymers in the vicinity of the order-disorder phase transition known as the microphase separation transition (MST). An A-B diblock copolymer consists of a polymerized sequence of A monomers (the A block) covalently bonded to a second sequence of chemically (or isotopically) distinct B monomers. The molecules of interest are linear, flexible, and amorphous in bulk form.
