Abstract

Bond graph modeling methodology of cascaded and interleaved switched mode power converters (SMPC?s) is presented in this paper. Switched power junctions are used for modeling of switching phenomenon is SMPC's. Bond graphical method is used for obtaining large signal, steady state and small signal models of these converters. Modelling of two converters namely 3-stage cascaded boost converter and 3-phase interleaved boost converter is discussed. The models are supplemented with simulation results.
