Abstract

In the paper we report some results of simulation of instabilities accompanying the process of mixing two fluids with and without sedimentation. Molecular dynamics approach was used to investigate systems composed of 2.10 s particles. To perform sufficiently long runs, we have been obliged to use efficient codes on parallel and vector architectures.
