Abstract

Interference cancelling receivers have been suggested as low complexity receivers for CDMA systems. In this paper, a successive interference cancelling receiver with blind adaptive antenna array is proposed. Two schemes are suggested to adapt the array at each stage to one of the users and to cancel that user from the signal going into the next stage. The performances of these schemes in a multipath fading environment are compared, and the potential improvements over the single-element interference cancelling receiver are demonstrated.
