Abstract

We report the 488 nm photoelectron spectra of the mass-selected Cr2H- and Cr2D- anions. The electron affinity of Cr2H is 1.474 ± 0.005 eV. Frequencies are reported for all three vibrational modes in both the neutral molecules and the anions, and their structures and bonding properties are discussed.
