N2 - We report the results of exposing eight different avalanche photodiodes from two manufacturers to a fast neutron field produced by 252Cf at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL). The effects of this type of radiation on the intrinsic dark currents of the devices for fluences up to 1013 neutrons/cm2 are shown and discussed.
