Abstract

Amiloride suppressed the summated chorda tympani proper nerve responses to NaCl and LiCl in rhesus monkeys but did not suppress the responses to sucrose, acesulfame-K, aspartame, Na-saccharin, Na-cyclamate, xylitol, D-glucose, D-fructose, glycine, KCl and NH4Cl.
