Abstract

Polymersomes are vesicles that are made from amphiphilic block copolymers. Provided the correct molecular weight and composition of the polymers are used, the vesicles can be spontaneously formed in aqueous solution or electroformed from a wire. An overview is given on the developments made to date concerning polymersomes.
