Abstract

A 31-year-old woman with a solitary pulmonary nodule that was thought to represent a carcinoid tumor underwent In-111 pentetreotide scintigraphy. Uptake of the radiopharmaceutical by the nodule was revealed on SPECT images of the chest. Histopathologic analysis indicated that the nodule was a chondroid hamartoma.
