Abstract
We propose a new experiment for study of the condensate fraction in superfluid helium four. Relatively high energy (ev) helium atoms emitted from a liquid helium sample coincident with the scattering of a neutron at epithermal energies would be detected. The concept is related to the analysis of Hohenberg and Platzmann, but by making a coincidence measurement, we show that direct information about the time and space dependence of the superfluid order parameter can be obtained.
