Abstract

Analog circuit observer blocks (ACOBs) are a low-overhead design for test technique for analog and mixed-signal circuits that aim to reduce the need for precision in test. We present a new ACOB scheme, pseudoduplication, for single-ended switched capacitor filters. Fault detection is based on a data duplication code which is achieved without actual hardware duplication. Simulation is used to demonstrate how faults are detected. With layouts and simulation, we demonstrate that the overhead is not significant.
