Abstract

Authors' Synopsis: Pulmonary extravascular (PEV) and intravascular (PBV) volumes were simultaneously measured both at rest and exercise in five patients. Mean PEV increase from rest to exercise was 88%. This increase was related to PLA, but not PPA or PVR. No relationship between PEV and PBV could be demonstrated.
