Abstract

LINCAGES-6 is a computer program that synthesizes four- and six-bar linkages based on Burmester Theory using complex numbers. Recent enhancements to the user interface and the added ability to rectify certain Burmester curves for the circuit problem have increased the ease of use and allowed the user to discard unworkable solutions at an early stage in the design process.
