Abstract

7,8‐Didehydro‐4,5‐epoxy‐3‐ethoxy‐17‐methyl(³H)‐, and −17‐methyl (¹⁴C)morphinan‐6‐ol were prepared by substituting the N‐methyl group with/^acarbphenoxy group which was then either reduced with LiAl³H₄ or removed to remethylate the N‐atom with ¹⁴CH₃I.
