Abstract

The authors retract this paper due to findings that the chemical formula of the title complex was incorrect. This complex was originally formulated as having a 1:1 ratio of Co:K; however, further research has revealed that the correct ratio of Co:K is 2:3. The bridging ligand in the complex is reassigned as hydroxide. All conclusions in the paper that relied on the incorrect formulation of the title complex are therefore invalidated. The authors note that the magnetism study, X-ray absorption data, and the theoretical/computational studies stand on their own merit; however, given that many of the original conclusions have been invalidated, the authors retract this work. The original Communication was published on November 11, 2015, and retracted on March 25, 2020.
