Abstract

In order to solve the problem of low screening efficiency in the separation of tanning materials, a 3DOF parallel vibrating screen was developed. The vibrating screen is mainly composed of an upper platform, three branches and a screen frame. It can realize translation along the z-axis, rotation around the x-axis and the y-axis. To determine the strength, stiffness and resonance of the vibrating screen during the screening process, it is necessary to analyze the dynamics of the vibrating screen. Based on the finite element method, the 3D model of the vibrating screen is built by Solidworks. Then it is imported into ANSYS to complete meshing, grid element and material determination, load application, etc. Finally, the main structure is subjected to static analysis, modal analysis and harmonic response analysis. The results show that, the maximum displacement deformation of the main structure of the vibrating screen appears at the load application position, its value is much smaller than the allowable deformation of the material. The maximum operating frequency of the main structure of the vibrating screen is 8.5 Hz, which is the closest to the first mode of the natural frequency of 12.681 Hz, the difference is obviously higher than 10%. The bottom center and the upper midpoint of the right side of the screen frame are easy to damage, there is always a small displacement during the screening process, the screen frame is not damaged. The results show that the main structure is safe and reasonable.
