Abstract
Co/Pd superlattice perpendicular films are fabricated on 2nm indium tin oxide (ITO) seed layers by DC magnetron sputtering. A film with perfect remanent squareness and highly linear demagnetization shear is obtained. Micromagnetic simulation suggests that the film has weak intergranular exchange coupling. Good SNR is obtained, but D50 is reduced by the closely spaced soft underlayer and large fly height.
