Abstract

Synthesis of 3H‐1,2,3,4‐Triazametallole Complexes by the Addition of Methyl Azidoformate to the Metal–Carbon Triple Bond of Cyclopentadienyl‐Substituted Carbyne Complexes of Molybdenum and Tungsten N3CO2Me attacks the electron‐rich metal–carbon triple bond in C5H5(CO)2 ‐ n (PMe3)nMCR (M = Mo, W; R = Ph, Tol; n = 0, 1) (1) to provide neutral 3H‐1,2,3,4‐Triazametallole complexes 2.
