Abstract
In 1980 an experiment was conductted to identify factors associated with the displacement in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness in Minnesota. The purpose of this study was to examine some of the catalysts for change and some of the other elements of displacement associated with the recreation user's growing thresholds. Particular emphasis was given to the relation between experience and displacement of users within the study area.-from Author
