Abstract

Reaction of [Ru(ttp)(NO)Cl] with aryl or alkyl Grignard reagents gives [Ru(ttp)(NO)R] (R = C₆H₄F_-p, Me); the Ru-C bond in [Ru(ttp)(NO)Me] undergoes insertion by SO₂, and the structure of [Ru(ttp)(NO)(C₆H₄F_-p)] is determined by X-ray crystallography.
