Abstract

A mathematical model describing natural ventilation in livestock buildings was developed using transport phenomena equations. Both wind induced forces and buoyant forces were included in a single system of equations. Buoyant forces due to temperature, pressure, and humidity ratio gradients were included. Application of the model was presented and the results discussed.
