Abstract

A commercial turkey grower barn was monitored for one year. Airborne Aspergillus levels were below those needed to infect healthy birds. Condemnations due to air sacculitus were ten times higher in the winter than in the summer. Dust, ammonia and aerosol levels were two, three and four times higher, respectively in the winter than the summer.
