Abstract

The University of Minnesota (UMN) has introduced CUSP curriculum in its Electric Energy Systems (EES) course. The vision behind CUSP is to provide all the resources an instructor needs in teaching his/her own courses in the field of Electric Energy Systems with an emphasis on sustainability. A diverse set of topics is covered in rapid succession. Therefore, it is essential to give students the tools to help them grasp the concepts quickly. The resources for learning materials are being developed by world-renowned experts from academia and industry who share the vision of providing educational resources with a sustainability focus. All of the developed resources are available free of cost through CUSP, where all the course materials for three undergraduate EES courses have been uploaded.
