Matt Aro is a Research Program Manager for the Materials and Bioeconomy Research Group at the Natural Resources Research Institute.  His chief areas of interest are providing product, process, and business concept research and development services to OEMs, entrepreneurs, organizations, and agencies associated with the wood products and natural resources sectors.  He also focuses on advancing thermally modified wood processing technologies, solid and engineered wood products, and life-cycle assessment of natural resource-based products.
